Bowls In Focus 37 and enjoy our 'state of the art' indoor bowling greens at Brighton Bowling Club Breen Drive East Brighton Ring 8520 9600 for further details- No Membership required to play or Open 7 days per week throughout Winter !! www.brightonbowlingclub.com.au Victorian selectors have released the composi- tion of state representative teams to compete in the forthcoming Australian Sides Championship in Adelaide. With Australian squad members Mark Jacobsen and Lee Schraner missing selection for the Eight Nations International Tournament in India, which clashes with the championship, state selectors were able to name a full strength men's team for Adelaide. It is the same combination that defeated arch rivals NSW at Moama earlier this month. Young Shepparton Park star Brett Foley will make his sides championship debut in the men's twelve, while four members of the women's team, Warrnam- bool's Kellie Bowles, Anne Miles from Yarrawonga & Border Golf, Colac City's Hayley Miller and Jennifer Salmon from Glenroy will also make their first sides championship appearance. Bowles, who won the state novice singles title two years ago will be making her state debut in Adelaide, while Miller's first taste of interstate competition came at Geelong West last month when Victoria lost narrowly to the much-improved Tasmanian side. This year's Australian Sides Championship, which is a round robin format between all states and ter- ritories, will be presented at Adelaide's impressive Holdfast Bay club on 9-12 April. The Victorian men's team is: Mark Jacobsen (Moonee Ponds) skip, Brett Dodd (Werribee RSL), Ian Ewing (Lalor), Barrie Lester (Moonee Ponds). Wayne Roberts (Altona) skip, Lee Schraner (Brigh- ton), Nick McIntyre (Bundoora RSL), Brad Holland (Bendigo East). Matt Flapper (Essendon) skip, Paul Dorgan (Altona), Brett Foley (Shepparton Park), Brenton Coad (Altona). The women's team as named is: Rebecca McMahon (Colac City) skip, Paula Wood (Clayton), Robyn Thomassen (Grangeburn), Hayley Miller (Colac City). Joyce Lindores (Clayton) skip, Anna Hoogwerf (Es- sendon), Jennifer Salmon (Glenroy), Kellie Bowles (Warrnambool). Gayle Edwards (Keilor) skip, Brooke Edwards (Keilor), Anne Miles (Yarrawonga & Border Golf), Carla Odgers (Keilor).
